Following the independent review of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Master Plan, the Department of State Development and Infrastructure (DSDI) has informed the Department of Education (the department) that East Brisbane State School will not be required to relocate at the start of the 2026 school year.
The department will work with DSDI to understand any future proposals for the Gabba and what this means for East Brisbane State School.
The department will continue to consult with the staff and communities of the East Brisbane State School.
